Engineers from LANIT Integration created a modern integrated IT platform for the Otkrytie Arena stadium covering an area of more than 127 thousand square meters in the north-west of Moscow. The main object of the sports complex is the Otkrytie Arena stadium which will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches. This is the second largest stadium in Russia, designed to accommodate 45,000 spectators.

The television reception system (60 television channels) and a video advertisement system integrated with the video board and the sound system of the stadium have been created. LANIT experts have managed to achieve 100% fault tolerance of the key units responsible for the switching function of engineering and IT systems. This ensures smooth operation of the platform during mass events.

LANIT MET ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS
LANIT has extensive experience in creating infrastructure solutions for large facilities. That is why we offered LANIT to create an integrated solution for the 45,000 capacity stadium. It is very important for us that the LANIT team pays great attention to the commercial effectiveness of the technologies introduced. We will be happy if our project inspires other sports associations. Everyone will benefit from it - associations, athletes, and fans.

RESULTS
LANIT created a modern integrated IT platform for the new Otkrytie Arena Spartak multi-purpose stadium covering an area of more than 127 thousand square meters in the north-west of Moscow. This is the second largest stadium in Russia, designed to accommodate 45,000 spectators.
Otkrytie Arena stadium meets the requirements of the Russian Football Union, technical conditions of telecommunications companies, as well as the requirements of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to security and protection against terrorist attacks.
The stadium features a cash-free concept, which is, basically, a cash-free zone. Using credit or debit cards to pay instead of paying with cash improves the speed of service.
